The Connoisseur® synthetic Mongoose "Syn-Mong" has a texture of natural hair, albeit stiffer than sable and softer than hog bristle. Syn-Mong has variegated shades of ivory, gold and brown. Because it is synthetic, "Syn-Mong" is more durable than natural hair and is less prone to damage from solvents, insects or paint. Suitable for oil and excellent for pushing heavier bodied acrylics.
